First, all Linda's were born in the 50's, particularly in 53.

Was a NYC lawyer for 15 years.  Am now in a suburb outside of Mpls, MN, attempting to jump start a new career in the medical field, just started an associate degree at a small local college.  Mastered what they call "College Algebra" on-line, yes on-line.  I will have many posts on the in's and out's of on-line education at a junior college level, from the viewpoint of a former trial attorney in the pits of the courts of NYC.  A lot of posts about my war stories on that and running for judge in a town still run by Tammany Hall, no matter who is in charge.  Some more about working for Giuliani, I worked as an attorney employed by NYC for about 15 years. 

And not to forget the "REAL" story of 9/11, no conspiracy theories, just how awful it was to live downtown with two kids and a husband who saw the second plane hit.  Everyone south of 14th Street either has PTSD or is in denial.  So I also know and have experienced a lot about medications for all kinds of whatever you want to call it.

I have two teenaged girls.  Moved back to Minnesota to save my them from clubs and drugs and crime and have produced two of the most conservative teens that can be imagined.  One is heavily into Cosplay and Anime but does terribly in grades although she is super smart.  The other super smart one is up at Moorhead/Fargo, speaks and writes Japanese, lived a year in Japan and know lives off campus and is becoming a little too non-urban.  "Super smart" to me means can think on your feet, speaks well with words over 6 letters and can think and communicate abstractly, I don't care what you so-called "educators" think.  But that's another thread. 

I love theater, my first husband is still on Broadway after we moved from Cleveland.  My youngest is a fledgling actress and taking acting dance classes this summer and otherwise causing trouble, but the kind they like here.  Are you looking for the second thing?, see above.  I don't agree that after you use first, you have to have a second but more to come....
